Youtube is one of the most powerful tools for creating new celebs and discovering talent. We run through our top ten Youtube sensations. 

10: Tom Dickson:

In the 'Will It Blend' series, Tom Dickson attempts to blend various items in order to demostrate the power of a blender. The campaign has become viral on Youtube.

9: Psy:

Psy is a Korean pop star, who hit the headlines when he released the song 'Gangnam Style', which became a viral video hit, as well as a top-selling pop tune.

8: Ask A Ninja:

Ask A Ninja is a pioneering video series in the online world.  One of the early hits on both YouTube and iTunes, the Ninja pioneered the content business model.

7: Chris Crocker:

Chris Crocker is an internet celebrity, songwriter and blogger, who hit international fame with his video Leave Britney Alone, a heartfelt plea to the masses to for goodness sake, just stay out of poor Britney Spears' life! 

 6: Shane Dawson:

This American Youtuber is best known for his comedic impersonations of well-known figures such as Sarah Palin and Paris Hilton, as well as spoofs of popular TV series and music videos.

5: Natalie Tran:

Natalie is the most subscribed Australian Youtuber, known for humourous monologues and skits acted out by herself. Themes generally include observational humour and commentary on social dilemmas.

4: Caspar Lee & Jacksgap:

Caspar Lee is a teenage sensation hailing from Knysan. With his videos ranging from teaching kids to do Gangnam Style, to how to be a hipster. His Bieber-esque looks make him a firm favourite among teenage girls.

 

3: Ray William Johnson:

A Youtuber who Youtubes about other Youtubers, Ray William Johnson is a blogger best known for his series =3, which provides a commentary on all of the latest viral Youtube videos. Videos on his channel have a total of over 2 billion views! 

2: Sophia Grace & Rosie Brownlee:

This adorable twosome covered Nicki Minaj's 'Superbass', and ended up with a video that went so viral that they landed an interview with Ellen Degeneres! Nine-year-old Sophia Grace Brownlee, and her five-year-old cousin Rosie Grace McClelland have also interviewed Rihanna and Katy Perry, and sung with Maroon 5.

1: Jenna Marbles:

Jenna Marbles gained her fame through blogging and social media, before releasing a video entitled How To Trick People Into Thinking You're Good Looking, which amassed over 5.3 million views in its first week.
